CHAMPAGNE ON ICE

After being activated in cool water, the “Chilly Willy” is worn around the neck or head to provide a cool and refreshing sensation for days at a time.  Because the crystals in a “Chilly Willy” absorb water, the tie is not soaking wet, but just slightly damp.  The water will slowly evaporate in about 7 to 10 days.  When completely dried (in open air to avoid mildew), “Chilly Willy” can be stored in a pocket, purse, car, golf bag, sports bag, etc. and be ready for reuse in minutes.
 “Chilly Willy” are filled with special crystals which absorb many times their weight in water.  After absorbing the water, the crystals swell making a gel like substance.  They will stay this way, gradually returning to their original form as dry, hard crystals.
